August 21, Day 47 of the Disaster on the Tuscarawas

OEPA’s assertion that a few rain events and the river will be clean turns out to not be the case. Still nothing on assistance with starting a river cleanup. I have started a personal program, “bag of trash a day”.

Since yesterday, I will try to pick up a bag of trash in and around the river every day. This also includes my neighborhood as the water main break showed quite dramatically, anything that goes into the storm sewers ends up in the river! Feel free to join me!
