Whoo hoo! ๐ฅณ I came in second place for my age group in the OVMP Run to the Wall/9-11 first responders memorial race! ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ
When the going got tough running up the MANY hills that were on this trial, I could hear the voices of encouragement from the 13 fallen soldiers that I dedicated my run to. Was it all in my mind? Could have been but the voices sounded real to me. The OVMP is always a beautiful and solemn place to visit and always an honor to support and run in the memory of those that โgave their allโ for Americans to have the freedom and protection that we enjoy today. Thank you to the race organizer, Melissa James and all of the volunteers that helped put on a fantastic event! ๐๐๐๐๐
