Dave and I checked and pulled three bags of trash from the Mud Run and both Summit Lake booms. They are working well.

Yesterday’s rain event pushed trash through the storm sewers at the lake and by the yellow balls we know which of the storms drains it probably came from. Petroleum sheen on the lake is sadly normal runoff from the roadways. I bet if we develop a plan for more booms, we can capture this pollution and dispose of it before it is lost in our waterways.
